BONNE FÊTE! We can’t wait to celebrate our 5th anniversary with you all… Fête-ivities to commence!
**Fête en Blanc volunteers are unavailable to reply to emails or social media after noon today, Fri., August 28.
This year, due to our venue rules and liquor license, Fête en Blanc is not BYOB.
We have partnered with the folks at Lomonico’s Eatery to serve up a variety of fine wines at a flat rate of $18 per bottle or $5 per glass.
The bar will also have a few selections of Seventh Son Brewing Co. beer to purchase for $4 per glass.
Since this year’s Fête will be our largest yet, we suggest you email Lomonico’s to RESERVE your bottles, then just pay, grab-n-go from a VIP line at the venue. This will help in their planning and to alleviate longer lines, but wine and beer will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Ideally, bring a favorite glass of your own- but beer (and wine, if need be) will be provided in plastic cups.
Email your order to: email@example.com
$18/ bottle or $5 per glass at the venue.
Scarpetta Pinot Grigio
Lucky Star Pinot Noir
The beers being served are by a local favorite, Seventh Son Brewery for $4/ glass.
Oast Oat Pale Ale. A sessionable pale ale brewed with 30% oats. Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe provide layers of fruit such as mango, white grape and gooseberry, along with some bitter pine and spice. Very light bodied and crisp with a clean finish. 4.2% abv.
Wuffles Session Ale. Pale and refreshing, our American version of a classic English Bitter is the definition of drinkable. Delicate hops and golden malts give away to firm bitterness and clean finish. 4.5% abv
Fête en Blanc has partnered with Uber Columbus to help make getting to and from Fête en Blanc easier than ever!
If you are new to Uber, your first ride is free up to $20 off.
Be sure to request the UberXL for a minivan or SUV that is able to carry multiple passengers and all of your picnic gear.
Uber does not guarantee the regular sized vehicles will be able to accommodate a lot of stuff, but one person with a small amount of gear or one or two passengers with a table and chairs might be able to squeeze in to a regular car.
Let Uber drive you. Click here. Use the code CBUSFETE15
This year’s musical act will give you the oh la la‘s! It is with great pleasure that we announce the entertainment for Fête en Blanc’s 5th Anniversary. The incredibly talented Derek Dicenzo Quartet will be performing a blend of jazz and French tunes for Fête-goers. On lead vocals, piano, guitar, and accordion is our beloved local musician Derek Dicenzo, who has been playing a French Bastille Day show here in Columbus for well over a decade. His passion and love for music has taken him all over the world, playing with some of the finest musical ensembles. Joining Derek is his fabulous quartet, which includes Nathan Anders on vibes, Chris Berg on bass, and Joe Ong on drums.
Mon dieu! We have two fabulous Picnic Package Partners who came up with thoughtful – and very different- menus for those Fête-goers who do not have time to muster up a feast for the Friday night Fête-ivities. The Table and La Chatelaine, who is packing the first thirty orders in these cute white market bags!
Please read the ordering deadlines for each and place your order directly with them. The picnics will be delivered to and available for pick-up at the venue, beginning at 6PM when the gates open for set-up.
La Chatelaine- DEADLINE: Tuesday, August 25, 2 PM
The Table– DEADLINE: Friday, August 21, 4 PM

We had over 400 guests and while we are still tallying up the final bills and ticket sales, we are going to be able to make sizable donations to both St. Stephen’s Community House and Greenlawn Abbey Preservation Society. Keep an eye on this website and our Facebook page to see lots of great photos of a wonderful evening.
See you in 2015!
